Something like tobacco road
Most likely a reference to the blues and rock standard “Tobacco Road.” The lyrics tell the story of an orphan who hates his desolated home, dreams of leaving, getting rich, then coming back to Tobacco Road, tearing the whole place down and building it back up again.
“Tobacco Road” was also a novel by Erskine Caldwell about poor tenant farmers in Georgia. It was made into a film in 1941.
