You left me standing in the doorway, crying
Revelation 3:20 — Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
Dylan feels like he has knocked but the door has not been opened, or has been opened but the room inside found empty.
Even so, his longing for God compels him to stand there, as nothing else he has experienced compares to the joys he has know in Him.
