Right around the corner
Could be bigger than ourselves
We could will it to the sky
Or we could something else
The “corner” Eddie is referring to is death, and turning that corner would be dying. He is saying that what lies after death could be “bigger than ourselves” (i.e heaven, hell, God, life after death, spirit world, alternate dimension etc.)
By saying “We could will it to the sky”, he is saying that we can convince ourselves that our fates after death lie among the clouds. Even though we don’t know that for sure, it sure gives us a false sense of security right? By saying that humans “could something else” is basically just saying that all religions have the same answer for our post-Earth destinies.
