Open Sesame (We've places to go)
The day just started for Turner and his date, and already, they are quite busy. “Open Sesame” has become a popular phrase used when someone wants to get in somewhere (perhaps a party or a nightclub). The phrase originates from Arabic folktale Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. “Open Sesame” is used to open the mouth of the cave where the thieves have hid their treasure in the story.
Allusions to the magical phrase let you know that they’re in a hurry.
