I wonder if God's still magic
A really powerful question here, speaking on the loss of innocence in kids in rough areas around the world. Chance is most likely referring of the children/people living in Chicago. The violence and chaos going on there strips a lot of children of their innocence, one idea being that religion will save you (or that God is “magic”)
He wonders both for himself because he’s having questions about religion himself and he wonders for these children. Do they still have their innocence or has it truly been stripped from them?
