Boy, they're gonna eat you alive (eat you alive)
But it's never gonna happen now
We'll figure it out somehow
This is a reference to the eventual death of Orpheus at the hands of the Maenads, a cult of women who worshiped Dionysus. Orpheus was torn apart by a group of Maenads under the orders of Dionysus, after Orpheus had renounced all gods but Apollo.
Since Orpheus was separated from Eurydice upon turning back to look at her when they were leaving the underworld, they would never be united as long as Orpheus lived, however, he could later join her in death, which is the end result of the Orpheus myth.
Death of Orpheus by Émile Lévy, 1866
