‘Goodbye’ is a song that I wrote on my own, and I produced. It’s a very hard song to talk about, it was a hard song to record, and to sing. I felt it was appropriate to put this song on the album because this is a song that is very real to me, has the most meaning to me out of any of my songs. It’s a song that’s very honest and very pure. And I think when something means that much to you and it’s hard to put it out there, that it’s probably a good idea to do so and I hope that this song is inspiring to other people and can touch other people and move them the way that it moves me to this day. This song is about closing the chapter, and opening many others, and finding the strength to move on from something very secure."
