Choo, choo, choo, choo, choo
[Verse 1]
I got no style
I take my time
All those losers on the piss again
I doze, doze away
That's just the way it is
That's just the way it is
[Chorus]
I've got trimm trabb
Like the flash boys have
And I can't go back
Let it flow, let it flow
I sleep alone
I sleep alone

Just the way it is
Just the way it is
Just the way it is
Just the way it is
That's just the way it is
I've got trimm trabb
Like the flash boys have
And I can't go back
Let it flow, let it flow
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
[Bridge]
Choo, choo, choo, choo, choo
I've got no style
I'll take my time
All those losers on the piss again
I doze, doze away
That's just the way it is
That's just the way it is
[Chorus]
I've got trimm trabb
Like the flash boys have
And I can't go back
Let it flow, let it flow
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
I'll sleep alone
[Multiple screaming]
Just the way it is (x11)

About
“Trimm Trabb” is the eleventh track on Blur’s 1999 album, “13.” The song features an acoustic guitar riff that progresses into a distorted electric lead and eventually fizzles out.
“Trimm-trab” is the name of a sneaker made of suede tops by Adidas in 1980. It was followed by Trimm-trab 2 in 1984.
The song was written long after the sneakers were produced. The extra “b” in “trabb” is presumably for copyright reasons.

The guitar thunders in on “Trimm Trabb” (about Adidas trainers) and Damon sounds as though he’s dying. Because what he’s coming to terms with is not only the end of his love affair, but the love affair he had with Graham, with Blur itself. It’s the end of a century.
-13 Special Edition“Trimm Trabb,” I like that because suddenly you hear this kind of howl, Damon is howling. It’s a strange song because it’s about something really, really mundane. How we have all these things during our day: what trousers to wear, what things to put on our feet, oh God, I’m going to have to make some toast. Which is why I love the bit where he howls, because it’s a bit like an existential fucking howl, the emotional pain of the overwhelming thing of the mundane.
