About

Genius Annotation

Perhaps the most lyrically direct song on the album. It is also the most musically elaborate. It features auto-tune, densely multi-tracked vocals and significant use of percussion compared to the rest of the album.

Justin Vernon spends the song regretting his break-up and subsequent isolation from his ex.

The song was featured in the final scene of the 2013 film “The Place Beyond the Pines” starring Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes, and Bradley Cooper.
