“Frankie Fell In Love” is about a woman who falls in love for seemingly the first time. On a deeper level, it speaks about the inevitability of love happening, even to the most skeptical ones who say they’ll never find it or that they would never let it happen to them.

Frankie could be Obediah “Obie” Dziedzic (May 6, 1951, Long Branch, NJ – May 1, 2017, Lakewood, NJ). According to Bruce himself, the first and No. 1 fan since 1965. Obie, a regular on the Asbury Park music scene, was a personal assistant and cook to Springsteen, Steve Van Zandt and Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes from the beginning of their respective professional careers.
