Feiticeira Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Fuck, I'm drunk, but I'm on my knees
The police stopped chasing
I'm her new, cool meat
She pops the trunk, and she removes me
And a machine takes pictures of us
Now my jaw and my teeth hurt
I'm choking from gnawing on the ball

[Hook]
And just before I come to
Move to the back of the car
She made me touch the machine
New murderer, fuck 'em

[Verse 2]
First, untie me
Untie me for now
You said you would, right?
And you were right

[Chorus]
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
"Soon, this will be all over
Well, I hope soon," she sang

"Soon, this will be all over
Well, I hope soon," so she sang
[Outro]
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
So she sang
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
So she sang
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
So she sang
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)
(Soon, I'll let you go; soon, I'll let you go)

About

Genius Annotation

Chino Moreno sings here from the perspective of a person who has been kidnapped. He explained on Deftones World: “It’s named after a Brazilian female, but its lyrically about a kidnapping scenario. It details a few hours of being held captive. There’s a lot of dialogue in there that was fun to write.”

What did Deftones say about "Feiticeira"?
Genius Answer

“The working title was New Murderer, the name itself is some Brazilian name that I read in a magazine and just liked. It’s loosely based on the scenario of being taken captive. It’s completely fictional. I want people to listen to it and feel like they’re in the situation, because I do put myself in the story. It’s up to the people to listen to it and figure out whether I’m enjoying myself or not, even though it sounds a little eerie.” - Chino Moreno

What does the title mean?
Genius Answer

“Feiticeira” is Portuguese for “sorceress”. The name is allegedly inspired by Joana Prado, who played the luscious “Feiticeira” on Brazilian TV, and the members of Deftones came to know through Max Cavalera. Today, she’s the wife\manager of MMA fighter Vitor Belfort, and regrets her days of fame as a sex symbol.
