Genius Annotation

“Don’t You Know Who I Think I Am” is the first song that lead singer Patrick Stump ever co-produced on behalf of Fall Out Boy. It is also worth noting that the other co-producer, Butch Walker, was the one who took over production of the band’s music after the hiatus.

The title of the song is a response to a common question from someone who is outraged (directly stated in Thnks fr th Mmrs): “who does he think he is?” It has been speculated that both instances make reference to a feud that Wentz had with a childhood friend that has since been resolved.
