“The One” is the fourth and final single from singer Jennifer Lopez' third album This Is Me.. Then. The single and its remixes were based on the “(Version 2)” edit of the track which was included as a bonus track on the main album release.
The Version 2 edit has a completely different chorus based on a sample of The Stylistics “You Are Everything”, and uses the original versions chorus as its bridge.
