“This is the Best Day…” was one of the first tracks recorded by My Chem, back in 2002 under Eyeball Records. Producer Alex Saavedra filmed the recording of the song, which can be found in a YouTube video.
Geoff Rickly—the other producer—did backing vocals in the track, as well as the band's future guitarist Frank Iero, who wasn’t part of the band at the time.
