Genius Annotation

Dee is the only instrumental track on the Blizzard of Ozz (excluding “RR” which was included on the re-edition of the album in 2011). It’s a calm guitar track.

Ozzy wrote the following about the song in his autobiography (“I am Ozzy”):

He worshipped his Mom, Randy did. I remember when we were recording the Blizzard of Ozz at Ridge Farm, he asked if he could write a song and name it “Dee” in her honour. I told him to go for it.
