About

Genius Annotation

Kellin Quinn is a known advocate of the anti-suicide movement. In “Fire” he depicts a troubled soul contemplating taking their own life. Unlike the other songs on the record, Sleeping With Sirens conveys this message over a smooth motivational instrumental.

Kellin’s religious beliefs are obvious, and many Christians believe that suicide is the work of the Devil. If you take your own life you will burn in hell. Kellin takes this metaphor and transposes it into a anti-suicide anthem.
