Genius Annotation

Sublime’s first attempt at a Spanish/English song. Off of their debut 40oz. to Freedom. It sounds so nice in Spanish, but when you translate it there is plenty of dirty humor.

There exists an earlier version called “Chick On My Tip”. It is entirely in English, and can be found on the album Second-Hand Smoke.

The bassline of this song seems to be inspired by “The Villian’s Theme”, commonly heard as a background to scary scenes in old silent movies.
