This song could be about Pat’s friend who committed suicide after returning home from a weekend trip to the lake. This was one of Pat’s best friends,and Pat met him after his mother passed away. Pat is saying that now that his friend has passed away, he can finally meet his mother in heaven. He also expresses his love for this particular individual when he mentions all the famous people that have died. He says he would rather hang out with his friend in heaven then any of them.
