She doesn’t want to get married and have a diamond ring (a SHOW of love), she’s found a man and she’s content with that.

A reference to the usual dynamics of a relationship

She was quickly enthralled with whoever she was playing this flirting game with. (likely because of the style this game was played with which was revealed in the previous line ‘playing rough without a fight’)

The flirting that preceded the relationship was rough but not a fight.

She’s naive and is just a pawn in a sort of emotional economy (obviously, a very jaded view of things) that exists to create a perception of compassion and empathy in order to perpetuate a positive emotional connection with the world; a cog in a machine that exists to craft an optimistic perspective (based on the idea that optimists are contrivers)

Tiffany is her alter-ego (and is the source of her vanity)

She needs TV and her medication; she’s addicted to these things because she needs to be sedated and dulled down.

Being tarred and feathered was a colonial form of enforcing unofficial justice. They (her and Tiffany) are evidently defiant or apathetic regarding a crime or broken norm that got them tarred and feathered and are showing it by having sex on stale tar and feathers. There is no greater act of defiance possibly at the moment.

They’re being compared to prostitutes or slaves of some sort, their master calls them up to compare them to one another (and, obviously, objectifies them)

"And we'll never be royals (royals)" (Lorde – Royals) | accepted

When she says ‘it don’t run in our blood’ she is saying that she doesn’t have royalty in her blood (in order to be part of royalty you have to be born or marry into it), not wealth; she’s wealthy (now) and it didn’t happen because of her last name.

It’s speculative to say that the ‘buzz’ is expressing her views because that was never mentioned or even implied. It’s possible that her ‘buzz’ comes from being ‘your ruler’ which is part of her ‘fantasy’.

This is a very cryptic song (which shouldn’t be surprising since it features Justin Vernon who is notoriously cryptic). The lines, like Vernon’s, seem very simple and sometimes border on incoherent but are deeply emotional (deeper emotions are often very difficult to articulate)

"I'm a pawn in the hype machine" (Poliça – Tiff) | pending

She’s just a pawn (a cog) in a system that exists solely to garner hype (interest; attention) for itself (or,possibly, her band or her as a person (attention is generally a primary need of humans)).

He’s skeptical of heaven. He’s saying if you’ve never seen any proof of it how do you know it’s real? He also touches on skepticism of whether or not there’s a god (have you ever bowed unto your highness?)

"And nothing to get hung about" (The Beatles – Strawberry Fields Forever) | accepted

(using the last line as a premise) If nothing is real there’s no reason to stress about things.

"Nothing is real" (The Beatles – Strawberry Fields Forever) | accepted

I think he’s implying that everything is a facade, fake; reality is based on perception and not a concrete thing (which is consistent with the sort of thinking LSD induces).

His (or their- in this case he’s empathizing with the girl he’s with) pains are intertwined. He’s saying that the past means nothing (likely to console the girl), it doesn’t matter what you’ve done because the past is done; (if he’s referring to the La Grange of ZZ Top) He’s no longer in a debauchery -filled place (either literally or emotionally) which Hinnom serves as the contrast to.

I think he’s saying that (similar to what you’re saying) there are so many different roads from which they can proceed from this point, some of them will be broken (fucked) and therefore a dead end. From this, I think, he’s being defiant and saying that the roads are just waiting for them to travel on despite the odds (that they may be ‘fucked’ paths, possibilities) which inspire fear and anxiety (that going further with each other in their relationship may hurt them)
