About “KiCk i”

KiCk i is Arca’s 4th studio album, announced in her interview with Alex Frank for Garage Magazine. The album is described as “jolting and genre-crushing”, featuring collaborations with Björk, ROSALÍA, and SOPHIE and sees Arca exploring her multifaceted personalities.

With the release of the second single, “Time”, Arca officially revealed the tracklisting and artwork of KiCk i. The album was leaked on a Portuguese chat service on the night of March 21st, 2020 and subsequently filtered to other leak websites in the following days. The leaked 12 song project was the same set of tracks that Arca premiered at her Mutant:Faith show at The Shed in September 2019.

The new tracks introduce a cleaner and more defined sound, with special features from avant-garde Icelandic singer-songwriter Björk on “Afterwards,” Spanish signer-songwriter ROSALÍA on “Qué Lo Que,” also stylized as “KLK” and Scottish producer SOPHIE on “La Chiqui.”
