Sheep

Sheep is a DJ mix/musical score for Hood By Air’s Pitti Uomo 87 fashion show in Florence, Italy. The mix features many tracks and sounds pulled from Arca’s second album Mutant, which she released later in the year.

At only 17 minutes long, Arca packs an eclectic selection of tracks into Sheep. Starting off with a chorus of sheep bleating, the mix soon makes way for ethereal synths and her signature distorted, overdriven beats, matching HBA’s experimental and subversive take on men’s fashion.

The live performance at Pitti Uomo featured the choir Opera Polifonica, and DJs Venus X and Pandora’s Jukebox.
