Quickness is the fourth studio album by hardcore punk icons, Bad Brains. Released on September 14, 1989, the album is arguably their heaviest to date; it mixes several styles of hardcore punk, reggae, hip hop, funk, and heavy metal. Although drummer Earl Hudson appears on the cover, he actually did not perform on the album, instead drumming duties were performed by Mackie Jayson of Cro-Mags.
