Nervous Breakdown

As Black Flag’s debut EP and the first ever release from the legendary SST Records, Nervous Breakdown represents a milestone in American hardcore. Black Flag mastermind Greg Ginn financed the EP and launch of his new label with the proceeds from an electronics company catering to ham radio enthusiasts he started at the age of 12. That venture, called Solid State Tuners, passed its initials on to the the label it funded.

Nervous Breakdown features songs that would become classic “hits” for Black Flag and original singer Keith Morris‘ subsequent band, Circle Jerks.
