I Am a Nightmare (Single)

The single for “I Am A Nightmare” was released in 12" vinyl and digital format.

The single, released after the “Mene” single and before the 2017 album Science Fiction was supposed to showcase the direction of the new material Brand New would create, the sound they achieved in Science Fiction.

The release of “I Am a Nightmare” was met with critical praise. Pitchfork Media awarded the song “Best New Track” praising Lacey for writing his “most instantaneous hook in over a decade”.
