“Heroes”

David Bowie

About ““Heroes””

“Heroes” is the second album in David Bowie’s Berlin period, where he traveled to Berlin, Germany to detox after battling a cocaine addiction. The other albums in his Berlin period are Low in 1977 and Lodger in 1979.

This new detoxed Bowie is becoming accepted, and setting out the blueprint for electronic music for the next decade.

“Heroes” has it all. It would be the album that every young budding musician would refer to for guidance and inspiration for the next decade, and beyond.
