About “Eagles Live”

Eagles Live is the Eagles first live album, and last album before officially splitting up in 1980. The songs were mixed by Don Henley with the rest of the band while in Miami, Florida, and Glenn Frey in Los Angeles, after leaving the band and staying in California. “New Kid in Town”, “Wasted Time”, “Take It to the Limit”, “Doolin-Dalton (Reprise II)”, and “Desperado”, were recorded at The Fourm right outside of Los Angeles, California during the 1976 Hotel California tour. The rest of the songs except “Life In The Fast Lane” (recorded in Long Beach, CA) were recorded live in 1980 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium during The Long Run tour.

“Seven Bridges Road” was the only single released from the album, which is a cover of “Seven Bridges Road” by Steve Young.
