Elvis Presley is Elvis Presley’s debut album, released by RCA (current Sony / BMG). This album contains some songs recorded in the time of Sun Records in 1954 and 1955. This album is on the list of 200 definitive albums in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Some connoisseurs of Elvis' work say that this album shows a gradual evolution of Elvis as a singer and even as a musician in a more comprehensive, emphatic way, he was still an artist who relied heavily on improvisation therefore he would reach the apex as a singer and musician, years later.
