For Today’s sophomore release contains 10 songs, each representing an iconic biblical figure.

Many of the lyrics from the songs on the album come from the words of the person the song represents. For example, the sole lyrics on “Immanuel (The Challenger)” are “Repent, or perish” which come from the words of Jesus Christ in Luke 13:3 (Immanuel is another name for Jesus). Likewise, the opening lyrics of “Isaiah (The Willing)” come from Isaiah 6:8.

The album features two guest artists. “Immanuel (The Redeemer)” features the vocals of Joe Musten, the vocalist for the Christian hardcore band Advent. “Bendictus (Song Of Zechariah)” features a guitar solo from Dustie Waring, the rhythm guitarist for the progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me.
