T.A.P.O.A.F.O.M.

The album title is an abbreviation for “The Awesome Power of a Fully Operational Mothership”. It’s a double reference. The “mothership” calls back to the concept that Clinton used with his band Parliament, especially but not only on the album Mothership Connection. He’s calling back to it here because the album features a lot of people from Parliament who Clinton had’t worked with in a long time.

The full title is also a callout to the movie “The Empire Strikes Back”, where the emperor says

Now Witness the Firepower of this fully Armed and Operational Battle Station
