The self titled album, George Harrison, is the eighth studio album by George Harrison. It was originally titled Faster, named after the Formula 1 tribute song of the same name.
The album was recorded during a period where Harrison had become a father to his only child, Dhani, and had recently married his second wife, Olivia Arias.
During a 1979 interview with Rolling Stone, Harrison described the album as “very pleasant.”
It also produced three singles: “Blow Away,” “Love Comes To Everyone” and “Faster.”
