The Audition

Janelle Monáe’s The Audition is a demo album and her first step into the music industry. The album was self-financed and self-released in 2003.

The album had one single released years later in 2006 titled “Lettin' Go”.

Some versions of the album were later entitled “Metropolis: Point Zero”.

The album is also very rare, with fewer than 500 physical copies in existance.
