“Irresistible” Q&A

  • What have the artists said about the album?

I haven’t had the success of the other girls. This album is crucial. It’s either me staying where I am, or taking off to the top. It’s not just me singing about being in love. I also have heartbreak songs and girls telling off guys songs. It’s going to take me a while to recoup [on] this album, because we spent a lot of money on it."

  • What was her goal with this album?

My goal is to reach more people this time around. With the last album, I attracted a certain number with power ballads and my uptempo pop songs, but on the new one, there are more R&B-oriented tracks, which I think have a nice edge to them. And there’s attitude – something that no one has really seen in me before. Believe me, I’m a woman, so hey, I can have attitude.
