Rhymes & Reasons is the debut commercially released studio album by American singer-songwriter John Denver, released on October 14, 1969 via RCA Records. The album marked Denver’s first album release through a record label. The album was commercial failure, only peaking at #148 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album marked Denver’s first appearance on the chart at the time.
A total of two singles were released from the album: “Daydreams” and “Leaving on a Jet Plane.” Both singles failed to appear on any music charts.
