V*

Jonas Brothers

About “V*”

Intended to be released in 2013, V would have been the fifth studio album released by the Jonas Brothers, hence its title, which is five in Roman numerals. The album was going to be self-released by the band, in order to ensure creative freedom, but it was cancelled after the band decided to break up. A live album called LiVe was offered to fans in its place.

In June 2019, the band began a promotion called the Jonas Vinyl Club — for $399, fans could register to receive an assortment of records by the band, including a compilation of the songs that would have been on V. “Mr. Nice,” “Don’t Say,” and “Sandbox” were never released, but fans heard most other tracks through official releases or from LiVe.
