Dream, After Dream is the band’s second album released in 1980, after Departure. The album serves as the soundtrack to an obscure Japanese film of the same name, though the album proved to be more popular than the film itself.

Musically, it sees the band returning to their progressive rock roots as opposed to the more radio-friendly sound used in their previous albums.
