The lyrics and themes of this album come from drummer Vinnie Fiorello’s life arranged in a non-studio order. The name of the album “Hello Rockview” actually comes from Rockview State Correctional Institution, in which one of Fiorello’s friends was imprisoned there.

Hello Rockview is Less Than Jake’s most well-known album, given “All My Best Friends Are Metalheads” is their most popular single.
