Stampede of the Disco Elephants is the tentative title of the what was supposed to be the sixth studio album from American nu-metal band Limp Bizkit.

The band officially announced the album on February 24, 2012 when announcing their signing with Cash Money Records. The album has since experienced several setbacks, including the firings of turntablist DJ Lethal in 2012 and 2013, guitarist Wes Borland touring to promote the second album of his side project Black Light Burns in 2013, leaving Cash Money Records in October 2014, and bassist Sam Rivers being diagnosed with a degenerative disease of the spine in 2015.

The band initially wanted to release the album sometime in 2012 but due to multiple delays, the album was pushed back to September of 2013 with Borland claiming that the album would’ve been complete by August of that year. In July 2013, vocalist Fred Durst revealed in an AMA that the album had been pushed back to early 2014 and has since had no confirmed release date.

In September of 2016, during an appearance on the podcast Someone Who Isn’t Me, Borland explained that the album was originally planned to be in the spirit of the Beastie Boys album Paul’s Boutique and that Durst was the main reason the album was still unreleased. He elaborated that Durst was doing vocals on and off for the album and wasn’t satisfied with the outcome. Borland had expressed doubts on the album ever being released.

Durst would later claim in an Instagram post during May 2017 that he’d secretly released the album online back in early 2016 and wanted fans to find it. Borland would later refute this claim, stating that most of the album wasn’t mixed. In October of 2018, Oliver Sykes revealed that himself and Jordan Fish had traveled to Los Angeles to help the band record the album sometime in 2017. Sykes confirmed that Durst was the main reason the album was delayed, adding that Durst didn’t show up to record most of the time and didn’t feel ready to record the album.

Seven songs are known to have been planned for inclusion on the album: “Ready to Go”, featuring Lil Wayne, “Lightz”, a cover of Ministry’s Thieves, “Endless Slaughter”, “Wasteoid”, Dad Vibes, and “Turn It Up, Bitch”. Neither “Wasteoid” or “Turn It Up, Bitch” have studio versions, with “Wasteoid” premiering at a Paris concert on July 6th, 2019 and “Turn It Up, Bitch” premiering during Lollapalooza 2021.

Prior to the release of their upcoming sixth studio album, Still Sucks, both “Dad Vibes” and “Turn Up, Bitch” were both moved onto their latest album.
