This Used to Be My Playground is a promotional maxi-single by Madonna, released in June of 1992, via Sire and Warner Bros. Records. The maxi single features the original version of her song “This Used To Be My Playground”, as well as an instrumental, and a longer version of the song, which features additional lyrics and is longer in length (6:02) than the original version (5:10). The original version of the song is also referred to as the “single version,” as listed on the promo artwork.

The song was originally released as the theme song for A League of Their Own (2002), a movie Madonna starred along side in.
