In the Groove/I Heard It Through the Grapevine

The album was originally released as ‘In The Groove’, and was later re-released by Motown as ‘I Heard it Through the Grapevine’ to capitalize on the success of the namesake single that blew up the charts in mid-1968. The renamed album then shot up to #2 on the R&B albums chart.
