M.P.G. is the ninth studio album by American soul musician Marvin Gaye, released on April 30, 1969, via Motown Records' label Tamla. The album title is taken from the initials of Gaye’s full name, Marvin Pentz Gay.

The album peaked at #33 on the Billboard 200, making it Gaye’s first solo album to reach the Top 40. The album also peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Top Soul Albums chart.

Three singles were released from the album: “Too Busy Thinking About My Baby”, “That’s the Way Love Is” and “The End of Our Road” which peaked at #4, #7 and #40 on the Billboard Hot 100 respectively.
