1986-1991: The Warner Years

Miles Davis

About “1986-1991: The Warner Years”

As the title implies, 1986-1991: The Warner Years is a box set featuring nearly all of Miles Davis‘ recordings during his years with Warner Bros. Records, whom Miles had signed with from 1986, until his death in 1991.

The title is slightly misleading, as two of the albums featured in the box set (Doo-Bop and Live at Montreux) were released posthumously in 1992 and 1993, respectively, but nevertheless is a near-complete collection of Miles' Warner recordings, including some rare and unreleased sessions, and tracks taken from the film soundtracks of Siesta and Dingo.
