Pangaea

About “Pangaea”

Pangaea, named after the theory that Earth was once made up of one continent, is a live double album from jazz mogul and trumpeter Miles Davis, and continuation of his acclaimed work Agartha.

The album is split into two tracks and four sections, each with a different mood and range, but all with a flowing tone that brings a smooth, mellow attitude to the LP.

The project was recorded during Festival Hall sessions in February of 1975 and released as a cleaner recording a year later.
