Beacon Street Collection is No Doubt’s second studio album. It’s a follow-up to the band’s self-titled debut, which failed commercially and caused their label Interscope Records to lose faith in them. To combat this, the group formed their own label (Beacon Street) and recorded the album in a garage. In total, “Squeal” and “Doghouse” were the only singles released. After the album was released independently, Interscope decided to re-release in 1997, where it sold 100,000 copies in its first week.
