Midnight Memories Tracklist
“Midnight Memories” is the third album by the British-Irish boy band, One Direction. It was officially released on November 25th, 2013, although it was leaked in high quality roughly a week before.
This album was announced on September 6th, 2013, when a video was tweeted of band member Harry Styles rearranging a scattered pile of cards with different letters to read out the words, “MIDNIGHT MEMORIES”. Further promotion of this album included “1D Day”, an 8 hour livestream featuring the members of One Direction and various special guests.
The album has four official singles, Best Song Ever, Story of My Life, Midnight Memories, and You and I. In addition to these singles, two promotional songs were released prior to the official release of the album – Strong and Diana.
Following the album’s release, the boys embarked on the Where We Are tour, which you can view the North American setlist of here. The album has been certified Platinum in the US and 3x Platinum in the UK.

Why is "Midnight Memories" the title track?
Midnight memories are where most of the memories of this record were made. [It] was between midnight and 5 in the morning. We have so many memories of just being in the studio or being after a show or being in the back of the bus or going to one of the guys' places and hanging and writing. Or, [it’s also] just when you’re young and that’s when you kind of have all your experiences.
