Process (Japanese Version)

This is the Japanese release of the Sampha’s debut record, Process. It features two bonus tracks exclusive to this record, “In Between and Overseas” and “Answer.” It also features four additional tracks from his earlier EPs and singles: “Too Much” and “Happens” from 2013’s double-sided single Too Much / Happens, and “Without” and “Indecision” from 2013’s Dual.

The album was produced by Sampha and Rodaidh McDonald and was released on the English independent label Young Turks.

On Process, Sampha seamlessly transitions from electro-soul jams, soft ballads, blood-pumping bangers, and smooth alternative R&B, all while exploring different avenues of his life, including the loss of his mother, and his relationship with his childhood piano.
