In Reverie

About “In Reverie”

Reverie: a state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts; a daydream. A follow up to 2001’s Stay What You Are, In Reverie is Save The Day’s most lyrically diverse and sonically divergent album. Chris Conley remarks in the Daybreak Documentary that every album after Stay What You Are, at least lyrically, deals with death and dying – and it’s certainly true for this album. While In Reverie never received the accolades it deserved from fans and critics alike, it has a very prominent and important space in the Saves The Day repertoire, and should be cherished for it’s raw, sharp honesty and clever approach to the madness enveloping the band.
