Wednesday Morning, 3 A.M. is the debut studio album by American folk duo Simon & Garfunkel, released on October 19, 1964, via Columbia Records.
Initially, the album was unsuccessful. However, following the popularity of the rerelease of their song “The Sound of Silence” with overdubbed electric guitars, bass and drums, the album gained a boost in popularity. In 1966, two years after its initial release, the album peaked at #30 on the Billboard 200.
