Audio Secrecy is Stone Sour’s third studio album. It was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee.
Audio Secrecy is Stone Sour’s first album without a ‘Parental Advisory’ sticker.
The album is by vocalist Corey Taylor called “the only hiccup of his career”. And the reason behind this is that the label Warner Music Group wanted the album to be something other than what the band wanted.
Because of this it took a lot of energy from the band and they were forced to use songs that Corey had written for his solo tunes, like “Imperfect” and “Pieces”.
Even so the album has a lot of good reviews and features some of Stone Sour’s most popular songs, like “Hesitate” and “Say You’ll Haunt Me”.
