The Third Gleam

The Third Gleam is The Avett Brothers' third studio EP featuring a stripped down band, with just the original three band members making appearances.

The Gleam records are notoriously introspective and see the brothers opening up and reflecting on personal matters through their music in a very raw way. According to Scott Avett, “[Gleam] is a play on the quiet, little flashes of light that happen after a big, exciting, and noisy time. Gleam is sort of like what happens after all the madness.”
