Past Masters · Volume One

When the Beatles' music was introduced to CD, there was a need to wrangle all of the songs that didn’t appear on their original studio albums. Past Masters Volumes 1 and 2 solved this problem by collecting all of these tracks onto 2 CDs (or any other physical format). Present here on Volume 1 are all of their non-album tracks from 1962-July 1965, showcasing their sound shift from the early Merseybeat sound to one more rooted in folk and traditional pop rock.
